eufy X10 Pro Omni review: is it right for rugs?

A research-based look at low-pile rug settings, brush cleanup and what the X10 station automates.

By Home Gear Verdict · Revised October 15, 2026 · Price snapshot September 20, 2026 · Archived score August 31, 2026

Shortlist the eufy X10 Pro Omni for a home with mostly hard floors and low-pile rugs if pad washing matters more to you than eliminating brush cleanup. We would pass if you need it to clean high-pile rugs, cannot leave room above the station for tank access, or expect the dock to handle every dirty part. This is our research-based buying judgment; we did not test the machine.

Where the X10 fits, and what would change our advice

The useful attraction is a station that washes the mopping pads. That can make the X10 worth investigating for routine hard-floor care. It still leaves you with dirty water and hair on a brush. If either is the chore you are trying to escape, judge the maintenance work before the advertised automation.

Hard floors with low-pile area rugsA reasonable candidate for a shortlist, subject to the rug settings and station fit below. The model-specific carpet guidance and the independent cleaning observations.
Hair wrapped around the roller is your main frustrationDo not choose solely for the anti-tangle claim. Compare the brush-care evidence first.Consumer Analysis reported wrapping with long hair and some shorter pet hair; it did not measure your household's cleanup time.

High-pile rugsWe would choose a different setup for cleaning those rugs. The X10 manual's operating restriction, rather than its mop-lift specification.

Hair pickup and mopping do not tell the same story

Vacuum Wars' studio review reported good removal of dried coffee and grape-juice stains, but fine hard-floor debris and crevice pickup were weaknesses. Large debris was sometimes treated as an obstacle; the reviewer disabled obstacle avoidance for that trial. We would not turn that test adjustment into advice to disable protection around pets. Read the test and its conditions.

Consumer Analysis's March 23, 2025 video described wet, messy bristles during mopping. It separately described substantial long-hair wrapping and some shorter pet-hair wrapping. Those observations support checking brush access; they do not establish that moisture caused the tangling. Consumer Analysis, 2:15–2:30.

Our advice follows the chore you want to reduce. For pad washing, the X10 belongs on a shortlist. For avoiding hair removal, compare the dated Curv and X10 evidence before buying. We have no same-condition result that establishes an overall winner for every pet home.

A low station still needs room above it

eufy's dimensions article recommends 850 mm total height clearance for comfortable tank removal. The same page gives about 662 mm with the lid open. Opening the lid is therefore a different check from removing and carrying a tank. eufy also advises against placing this station inside a wardrobe because of moisture. These are X10-specific instructions, not a rule for every dock. eufy station-access guidance, checked October 15, 2026.

Our installation check: plan the tank's route out of the station, then your route to the sink. Verify front and side placement against the exact installation diagram; the overhead recommendation is not a complete floor-space plan. Use the dock-clearance guide to keep body dimensions, docking clearance and service access separate.

The upkeep you are buying into

The X10 manual's suggested schedule includes weekly dust-box and filter cleaning, monthly rolling-brush cleaning, and roller replacement every six months. Filter and pad replacement is suggested every three to six months. eufy says frequency depends on use; these are manufacturer intervals, not our measurements of a pet home.

Emptying and rinsing the dirty-water tank and cleaning the removable tray remain manual tasks. Power off and unplug before maintenance. X10 manual, section 7. For identifying where hair accumulates, see the long-hair maintenance guide; follow this model's instructions when removing parts.

Budget for replacements without inventing a yearly bill

eufy's US six-pack dust-bag page displayed $26.99 on October 15, 2026. That dated pack price divided by six is about $4.50 per bag, rounded to the nearest cent, before tax and shipping. It is not a claim about how many bags your home will use.

For a period you choose, the replacement-parts subtotal is bag packs bought × price per pack + the actual cost of other parts replaced. The current bag-pack price, your usage and the other purchases are inputs you must supply. We cannot turn the manual's suggested intervals into a verified annual ownership cost. This accessory snapshot is separate from the daily robot-listing feed.

Rug settings have a specific boundary

The X10 manual advises avoiding high-pile rugs or rugs thicker than 18 mm because they may cause malfunction. Its 12 mm mop lift is not permission to clean every rug below that height. eufy's carpet guidance describes Vacuum Only for low pile and Carpet Avoidance for medium-to-high pile. A No-Mop zone and a No-Go zone serve different purposes; use the X10 settings guide for that setup decision.

Scope of this assessment

Manufacturer documents establish instructions; third-party observations retain their own dates and test conditions. Our recommendations are editorial judgments. We did not own or test the X10, and have not measured household cleanup minutes, bag life or energy use. Research revised October 15, 2026; that date does not repeat an older test.
