Robot Vacuum Dock Clearance: A Model-Specific Space Worksheet
Separate dock dimensions, lid opening and tank removal before choosing a location. Compare the published X10 and Qrevo Curv examples, then fill in your room measurements.

Short answer: measure the dock with its service parts open, then check the robot's approach route. For the X10 Pro Omni, eufy's published recommendation is 850 mm total height for comfortable tank removal; its roughly 662 mm open-lid height answers a different question. A shelf that clears the lid can still obstruct the tank.
Which dimension are you comparing?
The same shopping problem produces several different numbers. Keep them in separate columns. A low robot may fit under a sofa while its station needs a completely different location.
| Exact reference | Published measurement | What it establishes |
|---|---|---|
| eufy X10 Pro Omni station | 365 × 480 × 460 mm, in eufy's stated length × width × height order | Station body dimensions; confirm orientation before laying out a shelf. |
| X10 lid and tank access | About 662 mm with lid open; 850 mm total height recommended for tank removal | Opening the lid and servicing the tanks are separate checks. |
| Roborock Qrevo Curv, tank dock | 450 × 450 × 450 mm | Published dock dimensions, not a complete cabinet installation envelope. |
Sources: eufy's X10 dimensions article, UK support edition and Roborock's US Qrevo Curv specifications. The Curv page also describes a refill-and-drainage variant. Its plumbing installation requirements must not be substituted for the tank dock's instructions.
eufy also advises against putting the X10 station inside a wardrobe because of moisture. Treat the overhead figure as model-specific guidance, not permission to enclose the station.
Take this worksheet to the intended location
Write the model and station configuration at the top of your notes. Use the floor as the common reference for height. For dimensions the manufacturer hasn't supplied, leave a question rather than estimating from a photograph.
| Record at home | Your measurement | Check against |
|---|---|---|
| Clear height above the floor | _____ mm | Lid movement and the full tank-removal path |
| Usable width and depth | _____ × _____ mm | The exact dock, base and installation drawing |
| Approach route | Mark it on your room sketch | Doors, chair legs and the model's placement instructions |
| Bag, tray and tank access | Mark each removal direction | Whether a hand and the removed part can pass the shelf or wall |
| Route to the sink | Trace it with doors open | Whether you can carry a tank without moving the station |
Our recommendation: choose the serviceable location before choosing the neatest-looking alcove. This worksheet is an editorial planning method, not a fit test we performed in a home.
Keep docking space separate from carrying space
The X10 T2351 installation manual calls for a hard, level location against a wall, with strong Wi-Fi and easy robot access. That wording doesn't supply a universal front or side clearance. Use the diagram supplied with your station for those directions.
If the only convenient location requires moving the dock every time you empty a tank, record that as an ownership cost in effort. Compare it with a more open location before ordering. The daily access walkthrough covers the trip between station, bin and sink.
Frequently asked questions
Is the X10 open-lid height enough for a shelf?
No. eufy gives separate guidance for removing the tanks; check the tank path as well as the lid.
Can I use the Curv refill-and-drainage dimensions for its tank dock?
No. Confirm the dock configuration and use its own installation requirements.
What should I do when a clearance measurement is missing?
Get the exact station's installation drawing or manufacturer clarification before treating the location as a fit.
