Check whether firmware updates are mandatory, how the robot behaves after a router change, whether multiple users need accounts and whether data deletion is documented. A feature you cannot control offline should not be central to your buying decision.

The S5V page specifies 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and excludes 5 GHz. A compatible wireless band is a setup condition, not proof of an offline feature set. 11S MAX’s listed remote is a separate physical-control reference.
