Buy if you want a dock that collects dust in a bag and a brush design aimed at hair tangles, and you will remove the mop pad before cleaning carpet. Skip if you need the robot to mop carpets, you need a verified pet-hair result, or you expect the station to take over brush and mop-pad cleaning.
Published figures
Figures are published by Dreame or quoted from its manual, or from a retailer copy of its leaflet. Latest source check: October 17, 2026.
| Item | Published figure | What it does and does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Robot body | 350 x 350 x 96.9 mm | Retailer-hosted copy of Dreame's product leaflet. |
| Dock clearance | 500 mm (20 in) | Per the manual's dock diagram (direction not labelled). Placement guidance, not a rated fit specification. |
| Dock clearance | 1.5 m (59 in) | Per the manual's dock diagram (direction not labelled). Placement guidance, not a rated fit specification. |
| Dock size | 440 x 298 x 452 mm (axis order not labelled) | Retailer data. Check the dimensions for the exact model you buy. |
| Carpet | Mopping is not recommended on carpets; remove the mop pad | Dreame's US D20 Pro Plus listing (consumer page). Ultrasonic carpet sensing boosts suction on carpet. |
| Brush | HyperStream Detangling DuoBrush | Manufacturer model page. A design claim, not a hair-removal measurement. |
Who it fits
- Homes where you want a dock that collects dust in a bag, and a brush design aimed at hair tangles.
- Households that will remove the mop pad before carpet cleaning, as the manual instructs.
- Rooms that meet the dock clearances on the manual's diagram (1.5 m and 500 mm, direction not labelled).
Who should skip it
- Anyone who needs the robot to mop carpets. The manual does not recommend it.
- Buyers who need a verified pet-hair result. Our sources include the manufacturer's brush claim, not a measured hair-removal test.
- Buyers who expect the station to clean mop pads or brushes for them. The dust bag does not establish automated mop washing.
The brush claim
Dreame's US model page specifies a HyperStream Detangling DuoBrush and an extending side brush. The detangling claim is manufacturer evidence. It does not show how much hair you will remove by hand in your home. Check the exact model rather than borrowing results from another Dreame brush system. Dreame D20 Pro Plus model specifications.
Carpet and mop
This is a vacuum-and-mop model. The manufacturer specifies a detachable mop pad and recommends removing it before cleaning carpet, so a routine that spans rugs and hard floors must account for that step.
Maintenance
The listed station collects dust in a bag. Emptying the robot, removing wrapped hair and washing a pad are different tasks, so compare the chore you want to automate before you buy. For dock space, use the dock clearance guide.
