Short answer: test a dock location with the cabinet doors open and the tanks removed, not just with the station sitting still. This guide covers the daily access walkthrough; the clearance guide covers which installation measurements to obtain.

Walk through the routine in the intended spot

Our planning method: mark the station footprint using the dimensions for your exact model. Open the nearby door or drawer, stand where you will remove the tank or bag, and follow the path to the sink or bin. Include the robot's return route in the walkthrough. A location can fit the case while failing the routine.

A useful placement reference

eufy's X10 Pro Omni manual recommends a hard, level surface against a wall, easy robot access and a strong Wi-Fi signal. These are model-specific installation instructions. They do not establish a universal side-clearance or overhead distance for other docks.

Cabinets need a service-access check

Before treating an under-cabinet location as usable, confirm how each part comes out. A tank lifted upward needs different access from a tray pulled forward. If a shelf obstructs the removal motion, move the location or check a different station; we do not recommend adapting a cabinet around an unverified fit.

Record three separate outcomes: the station fits, the robot can return, and the owner can service it. Our recommendation is to require all three before choosing a permanent location. A successful footprint measurement answers only the first.

Keep a photograph and your measurements

Use them when comparing a manual diagram with the actual room. Show the open door, outlet and shelf, rather than sending a cropped image of an empty wall. Do not rely on a marketing photograph to supply an unlisted dimension.

Frequently asked questions

Can a dock fit under a cabinet but still be unusable?

Yes. The cabinet may block tank removal, bag access or the approach route even if the station itself fits.

What should I test beside the dock footprint?

Check open doors and drawers, service access, the outlet location and the robot return route.

Does this page provide universal dock dimensions?

No. Obtain the dimensions and clearance instructions for your exact station configuration.
